With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rose Orendorff of Colfax, Illinois, born in Anchor, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Rose farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rose is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Meiners and Jessie Meiners (Reinhart); her siblings, Peter, Elmo, John and Norma; and her husband Kenneth Dale Orendorff (Dale).
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas and Phillip. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
