He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus and Ramona; his brothers, Ignacio, Jesus and Juan; and his daughter Dolores Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gutierrez; and his children, Toni (Bryan Ravit), Tami Gutierrez (Bj Schlechter), Antonio (Julie Gutierrez), Alicia (Arturo Saenz), Chuchena (Rony Arevalo), Lupe (Juan Albarran), Fernando (Veronia Gutierrez), Lalo Martinez, Richard Kindle (Jodi McCabe), Eric Kindle (Casey Galbraith), Tish (Ed Richard) and Renee (Jarid Hardee). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
