He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Farris and Ola P. Farris; his wife Orpha Farris; his children, Brenda Farris and Donald Farris (Sherri); his son-in-law James Brittain; and his siblings, Carl "Caleb" Farris, Mary Callian (Buddy), Bonnie Lowe (Bill), Nora Gerten, Connie Burcham (Tom) and Thomas Farris (Alice).
He is survived by: his children, Linda McMillion, Shirley Brittain, Arcelia Ramsey (Jerry), Robert "Bobby" Farris, Cindy Farris (Jerry), Tammy Farris and Charlene Adair (Charles); and his sisters, Loretta Blaylock (Joe) and Kathy Ostringer (Ray). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
