It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cleo Smith of Collinsville, Illinois, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John Thomas and Rosie May Smith; and his siblings, Leo, Patricia Self, Loretta Fitts and Charles Smith of Marine, IL.
He is survived by : his wife Barbara Smith; his children, Kenneth Smith (Jacqueline) of Woodbridge, VA, David Smith (Holly) of Denham Springs, LA, Marchie Nehr (Charles Jr.) of Collinsville, IL and Matthew Smith (Jennifer) of Alton, IL; his grandchildren, Krystal Klem (Tommy), Kristen Kinnear (Marc), Charles Nehr III (Annaleen), Alexandria Smith and Theron Smith; and his great grandchildren, Mikey, Tony, Nicky, Jimmy, Kendall, Greyson, Ellie, Oliver and Matilda. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
