We announce the death of Edwin G. Link of Collinsville, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 73. Edwin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Link and Maria Link; and his parents-in-law, Raymond and Adella Kreke. He is survived by: his wife Linda Link; his daughters, Jamie Elkins (Scott) and Michelle Klees (Joe); his grandchildren, Tommy, Penny, Tyler, Lucy and Carter; his siblings, Evelyn Valentine (Jim), Barbara Ann Burden (Alan), Janet Hoard (Mike), Helen Sue Bandy, Stephen Link (Louise) and Marilyn Schaefer (Tom); his sister-in-law Diane Kopp (Hibbard); and his niece Beverly Bandy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kc Club & Event Center (5420 Old Collinsville Rd, Fairview Heights, IL 62208).
