With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George James Haas of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Pocahontas, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Haas and Cora Haas; his brother Mike Haas Sr.; and his sibling's children, Mike Haas, Jr. and Lori Pearson.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Haas; his children, Bruce Haas (Debbie) and Beth Taylor (Jim); his grandchildren, Katie Casey (Stephen) and Maddie Taylor (Paul Cacioppo); his great grandchildren, Camilla and Colette Casey; and his nephew Christopher Haas (Kim).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
