He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Burgener and Myra Burgener (Zerkel); his son Phil Burgener; and his sister Marcia Acord. He is survived by: his wife Nina Nilsson; his children, Ruth Madawick (Mike), Lois Laynee and Tim Burgener (Becca); his grandchildren, Morgan Iaboni (Ryan), Logan Burgener, Braden Burgener, Reagan Hageman (Dillon), Lily Laws and Jaden Burgener; and his siblings, Wilfred, Lowell Burgener, Berna Dene Bowden, Luetta Cross and Trudy Phillips. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
