He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Sr. Hager; his grandparents, John and Thelma Parton; his siblings, Donna, Michael and Kim; and his son Jimi McNeill.
He is survived by: his mother Diana Hager; his children, Barbara "Bobbi" Heim (Miles McGreehan), Christy Lercher (Nick), James Lam III, Geri Marcak and Ryan Barr; his grandchildren, James Redmann, Alexis "Lexi" Redmann, Jackson Heim, Ava Lercher and Liam Lercher; and his siblings, Cindy, Shelly (Bruce), Dana (Adam), Shawna, Linda (Mark), Jerry, Bob (Mary), Jeff (Beth), Ron and Jamie.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Chapel Hill to help with funeral expenses.
