Janice Ruth left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Larue Meni and Evelyn Meni; and her sister Carol Gassmann. She is survived by: her husband Ardell L. Joseph; her children, David Joseph (Mari) and Dawn Knight (Sonny); her grandchildren, Joseph Knight, Ryan Knight, Andrew Joseph and Alexandra Joseph; her great grandchildren, Hudson Knight and Kimberly Nelson; and her sister Billie Simpson (Franklin). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barry Wilson Funeral Home & Cremation Services Ltd. (2800 N Center St, Maryville, IL 62062). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Collinsville First United Methodist Church (207 W Church St, Collinsville, IL 62234). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Keppler Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Collinsville First United Methodist Church or BJC Hospice.
