He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrel Winfred and Vivian Maxine Parrish (Wheatley); his former wife Barbara Lewis; his children, Holly Embley and Lucas Parrish; and his sister Judy Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Cochran; his children, Bethany Parrish of Fairview Heights, Daniel Bohnenstiehl (Nikki) of Worden and Dayna Atwood (Joel) of Collinsville; his grandchildren, Blaine Embley, Anna Embley, Ethan Bohnenstiehl, Kaylynn Bohnenstiehl, Roman Atwood and Dash Atwood; his children-in-law, Brian Embley and Maleri Parrish; and his sister Kathi Childress.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
