We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Nell Key Payne of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Biggersville, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leslie Key and Verdie Key (Dilworth); her husband William R. Payne; and her sisters, Virginia, Katherine and Sara.

She is survived by : her children, Diane Baer (Randy), John Payne (Katie), Sharon Slater (Dan) and Jeff Payne; her grandchildren, Lindsay Wotherspoon (Seth), Lauren Lane (Stephen), Allison Sandhu (Suchindra), Ashley Uhl (Aaron), Brittany Payne, Brooke Campbell (Travis) and Bryan Slater; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Sam, Sydney, Caroline, Adi, Weston, Grace, Mason and Brayden.

Nell was a breast cancer survivor, memorial contributions can be made to Susan G. Komen for the cure or First United Methodist Church of Collinsville.
