Simpson; his siblings, Wanda Lohman and Burt Simpson; his great-niece Jennifer Simpson; his brothers-in-law, Bill Lohman and Charlie Rusick; his cousin Gary Simpson; and his niece-in-law Nora Lohman.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Phyllis Smith of Collinsville; his children, Andrew Simpson (Debi Brumit) of St. Louis and Tonnya Monroe (Dan) of Granite City, IL; his grandchildren, Jason and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Jax, Zander, Rylen, Lincoln, Madden, Jalee and Gemma; his brother Curt Simpson (Georgia) of Carbondale, IL; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Rusick and Dan Brake; his nieces and nephews, Phil Simpson, Mike Simpson, Keith Lohman, Tim Lohamn (Betty), Mark Rusick (Leslie), Chris Rusick (Nancy Clayton Traub), Maggie Carpenter, Mindy Simpson, Sherry Simpson, Lisa Anderson and Beth Riess; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Seth Simpson, Will Simpson, Leah and Rinoa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Granite City ASPCA or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
