He is survived by: his pets, Winston, Scout, Pandora and Nomad; his wife Anne Cook; his children, Daniel Schorfheide (Ana) of Dallas, TX, Jared Cook of Collinsville, IL and Melissa Frieden (Jill) of Granite City, IL; his son-in-law Chris Kamacho of Granite City, IL; his grandchildren, Tyler Kamacho, Joey Kamacho, Tanner Cook and Zoey Geary; his great grandchild Kevin Geary; his sisters, Diana Bolanos and Vicki Gooden; his nephew Jeff Cook; and his mother-in-law Grace Cottingham of Troy, IL..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barry Wilson Funeral Home (2800 N Center St, Maryville, IL 62062). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
