He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Karrer Jr. and Ethel Karrer; his wife Phyllis Karrer; his sisters, Marjorie Meier and Betty Evers; his siblings-in-law, Bernie Evers, Virgil Kassing, Marion Hott and Deanna Hott; his niece Brenda Gasser; and his nephew Todd Evers.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Frances Kassing and Louie Meier; his nieces and nephews, Rich Meier, Randy Meier (Debbie), Ron Meier (Peggy), Ruthann Denson (Jim), Linda Lauth (Timothy), Timothy Evers (Susan), Steven Kassing (Teresa) and Marc Kassing (Judy); his cousin Peter Karrer (Ursula); and his godsons, Thomas Karrer, Adrien Karrer and Karolina Zeder of Switzerland.
Memorials are suggested to St. John United Church of Christ, St. John's Community Care, or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
