It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell A. Chapman of Collinsville, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Bert Chapman, and Dorothy Chapman, Sr.; his siblings, Bert Chapman, Jr. and Sandra Lord (Darvin); his nephew Kristen Lord; and his niece Christina Angela Chapman.

He is survived by : his sister-in-law Phyllis Chapman; his nephew Brian Chapman (Rebecca); his niece Tracy Liles (Jeff); his great-nephews, Lance Chapman (Lilly), Jeffrey Liles and Zachary Liles; his great-niece Maggie Chapman; and his aunt Gloria Hollen. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loving friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home (515 Vandalia St, Collinsville, IL 62234). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Hospital.
