It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Hale of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Lovington, Illinois, who passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hale and Blanche Cornwell Hale Harrison; his spouse Marion B. Quick; and his brothers, William Floyd Hale, Norman and Jerry Hale.
He is survived by: his close friend Yvonne Harshbarger of Decatur, IL; his children, Douglas Wayne Hale (Connie) of St. Jacob, IL and Leslie Ann Hale of Swansea, IL; his granddaughters, Marjorie DeNeal (Darin) of Thompsonville, IL and Michelle Dossett (Jeff) of Troy, IL; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Jasper DeNeal of Thompsonville, IL, James, Alice and Caroline Dossett of Troy, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Dick Walters, Shirley Hale and Jack Quick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
