He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Jones and Paula Jones; and his daughter Barbara Lanphere Davis. He is survived by: his children, Lesia Valentine and Frederick Jones; and his grandchildren, Errity Green, Brandy Gray, Ashley Jones, Natalie Jones, Dusty Lanphere and Charlie Lanphere. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
