He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Acton and Leone Acton (Liggett); and his grandson Gabriel Hartke. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Hartke (Ted) of Sidney, Justin Acton (Lisa) of Rossville and Jared Acton (Kari Fowler) of Collison; and his grandchildren, Phillip, Sophia, Ava, Ella and Cooper.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pilot Township Community Building (24991 1st Ave, Collison, IL 61831). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
