Donna June Carlson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna June Carlson of Colona, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Arthur and Mabel Virginia Catterton (Brown); her husband Wayne Leroy Carlson; and her siblings, Bonnie Martin, Norma Robinson and Charles "Hap" Catterton.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Laird (Joe) and Chuck Carlson (Marina); her grandchildren, Jeffrey "JJ" Ponce Jr., Angela Chase (Jonathan), Nicholas Laird (Page), Charles Carlson, Jacob Laird, Justin Sondgeroth (Amy) and Miranda Carlson; and her great grandchildren, Audrey Ponce, Noah Carlson, Brynley Ponce, Jason Carlson, Levi Ponce, Liam Carlson and Ellie Chase.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
