With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Justine Carlson of Colona, Illinois, who passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Christopher and Emma Fracaro Christopher; her brother Marty Christopher; and her granddaughter Christine Fernandez. She is survived by: her sons, Rick Fernandez of Burlington, IA and Dan Fernandez (Katherine Miletich) of Chicago, IL; her grandsons, Chip Rodgers of Oregon, Jack Fernandez of Moline and Garret Myers of Moline; her sister Jacki Catour (Don) of Colona; her nephew Jim Legare (Jenny) of Colona; her great-niece Emma Legare of Colona; her sisters-in-law, Melody Cronk (Cliff) of Moline and Fran Mutz of Joliet; and her close friends, Tommie Miller (Frank), Bob Myers (Maria), Kate Meeker and Tom Gorman.
