We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2026, at the age of 25, Kyle Matthew Schreckenberg of Columbia, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his uncle Daniel Schreckenberg. He is survived by: his parents, Tad Schreckenberg and Ruth Schreckenberg of Columbia; his brothers, Kevin Schreckenberg of Waterloo and Chris Schreckenberg of Columbia; and his grandparents, John, Helen Schreckenberg of Cahokia, Rick, Janice Watson of Millstadt and Ray Underwood of Waterloo. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Braun Family Funeral Home (265 Quarry Rd, Columbia, IL 62236). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (116 Church St, Cahokia, IL 62206).
