We announce the death of Marilee Kathryn Schueler of Columbia, Illinois, born in Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 74. Marilee will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Schueler; her parents, Elmer H. Meyer and Velma A. Meyer; and her brother Glen Meyer. She is survived by: her sister Emaleen Beckman (Lauren); her sister-in-law Bonnie Meyer; her stepsons, Michael Schueler (Janet) and Gregory Schueler; her stepgrandchildren, Austin Schueler and Kaitlyn Berghaus (Ryan); and her siblings-in-law, Cathy Fassel (Rodney), Carolyn Steffenauer and David Schueler (Patti). She is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
