With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert J. Frey of Columbia, Illinois, born in Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Philip Frey and Mary Jane Frey. He is survived by : his wife Jania K. Frey; his son Michael Kohlenberger (Melissa); his grandchildren, Michael R. Kohlenberger and Maura E. Kohlenberger; his siblings, Jeannine Frey, Philip Frey, David Frey and Russ Frey (Ginny); and his nephew Zach Frey.
