She was predeceased by: her parents, Milo Everett and Jewell Laveda Rains (Chamness); her brothers, James Rains (Olivia "Sis") and Robert Rains (Jacqueline); her sister-in-law Carol Rains; and her nephew Randy Rains.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea O'Connell (Matt) of Columbia, IL, Margo Sutter of Millstadt, IL, Adrienne Otten (James) of St. Libory, IL, Rosanne Sutter (Rick Becherer) of Caseyville, IL, Herb Sutter II and Tammy Bentrott of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Zachary Keller (Mariel Cotton), Aaron Sutter (Alexus) and Aurora O'Connell (Tim); her great grandchild Miles Joseph O'Connell; and her brother Kenneth Rains of Russellville, AR.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Valhalla Gardens (3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL 62223).
