Dona will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Dona by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Dona is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Dona’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Murl and Louise Zuber; husband: James (Jim) Archer; children: Brett (Ceci) Archer and Tiffany (Brad) Kemper; grandchildren: Katie (Cody) Chappell, Maxwell Archer, Helen Archer, Kiersten Albert, Cody (Megan) Kemper, Kelsey (Tony) Kemper, and Kasey (Rob) D'Alessandro; great-grandchildren: Pepper Chappell, Connor King, Zelda and Francesca D'Alessandro; sister: Linda (Roger) Grinka; parents-in-law: Walter "Skig" and Pauline Archer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Village House of Praise (139 W Chestnut St, Compton, IL 61318). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Contributions in Dona's memory may be directed to the Compton Fire Department or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
