He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Bena Steffen (Gudeman); and his siblings, Eldon, J. E., Marvin, Phyllis, Jerry, Ida Mae, Lyle and Willis.
He is survived by: his children, Jim (Valerie) of Morton, Marilyn Wettstein (Larry) of Eureka, Marge of Congerville, Annie Martin (Bruce) of Congerville, Myra Wiegand (Joe) of Congerville and Jay (Melinda) of Carlock; and his grandchildren, Jeff, Brad, Janel, Rex, Ross, Lana, Steffani, Josh, Nathan, Justin, Molly, Levi, Owen and Katy. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
