He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Blake and Mary Blake (Troyer); his brother Gary Blake (Suzie); and his son-in-law Jeff Siltman. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Siltman of Washington, Nick Blake (Amy) of Germantown Hills and Kandace Roth (Jonathon) of Congerville; his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Morgan, Mylie, Landyn, Kherington, Brexley and Eliza; and his siblings, Jean Zimmerman of Rantoul, Jane Bateson (John) of Clinton, Cathy Swiercz of Arkansas and Jim Blake (Bev) of Deer Creek. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the American Legion Post 1276 (31473 American Legion Rd, Mackinaw, IL 61755).
Those who wish may leave memorials in Larry's name to the National Parks Association where Larry proudly donated and supported.
