He was predeceased by: his parents, Raphael Reid and Dixie King (Minnert); and his sister Mary. He is survived by: his wife Susan King of Cordova; his sons, Justin King of Charlotte, Aaron King (Jami) of Altoona, Iowa, Jeremy King of Cordova and Adam King (Haley) of Pace, Florida; his sisters, Betty King of Port Byron and Debra Lopez of Port Byron; his grandchildren, Brittany King, Brandon King, Xayviah King, Sophia King, Brayden King and Madison King; and his great grandchildren, Jaden, Jayce and Maci.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family, for future use in a scholarship set up in Gerald's honor.
