She is survived by: her children, Eric Peterson (Michelle) of Brevard, NC, Kristin Peterson of Cordova, IL, Karla Bull (Rob) of Castalian Springs, TN and Sarah Knary (Konrad) of Moline, IL; her grandchildren, Kailyn, Jacob, Nathan, Hailey, Emily, Kinsey and Kayla; her sister Jane Pisarkiewicz (Richard); and her former husband Dr. Bruce Peterson (JanAnn).

Memorials may be made to QC Paws or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
