She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Koperek and Remona Koperek (Moore); her husband Gary Lee Bruner; and her adoptive parents, Sara Moore and Joe Moore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Remona Druhl (Fred) of Blue Grass, Iowa, Darlene Bruner-Getz (Henry Lyon) of St. Joseph, Michigan and Diane Cooney (Mike) of Grand Junction, Colorado; her grandchildren, Ted Getz, Dana Getz, Alex Getz, Kate Schewe (Zach), John Druhl (Ashley) and Cassandra Druhl (Jeremiah Johnson); and her great grandchildren, Jameson, Collin, Annie Schewe and Copper Druhl.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. - Port Byron (202 N Main St, Port Byron, IL 61275). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. (202 N Main St, Port Byron, IL 61275). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Cordova Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Cordova Library, Cordova Baptist Church, or Blue Grass Presbyterian Church.
