He is survived by: his wife Susan Burns of Cordova; his children, Brandi Burns of Rapids City and Bill Burns Jr. (Christina) of Erie; his grandchildren, Hannah Burns, Holden Hodson, Brady Burns, Blake Burns, Brynna Burns, Braelynn Burns and Bianca Burns; and his siblings, Gary Burns of Clinton and Carolyn Dolph of Albany.
