With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William A. Smith of Coulterville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Beck and Edith McConachie; his stepfather Leland McConachie; and his parents-in-law, Scotty Misselhorn and Carlene Misselhorn (Carolyn Stough).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Misselhorn of Coulterville; his daughter Lori Rettinger of Collinsville; his granddaughter Ashley Davis (Travis) of Coulterville; his great grandchildren, Mylee Davis and Gannon Davis; his siblings, Mary Wilson (Jim) of Sparta, Ray McConachie (Kathy) of Chester and Dennis Beck (Linda) of Chester; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Stough of Ellenton, Bob Misselhorn (Martha) of Sparta and Dave Misselhorn (Sheila) of St. Louis, MO; and his friends, Jesse, Pam Zeppeda and Keith Rettinger (Nicole). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
