She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her parents, James Kosmopolis and Martha Kosmopolis; and her siblings, James Kosmopolis Jr. (Sophie), Dorothy Aderman (Marvin), Vesley Powers, Elaine Karbowski (Dennis), Patricia Todd (Douglas), Andrea Bannon and Christos Kosmopolis.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Ryzner, Debra Chermak (Todd), Jennifer Castro (Michael) and Rita Barkstrom (Brian); her grandchildren, Lauren Chermak, Zachary Chermak, Hannah Castro and Sarah Castro; and her sisters-in-law, Cynthia Johnson and Victoria Kosmopolis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (1025 W 55th St, Countryside, IL 60525). A prayer was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A procession was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
