She is survived by: her children, James K. Hermes (Amy) and Kathleen Lenke (Gary); her grandchildren, Jason Hermes (Shelly), Jeffrey, Julie Hermes, Samantha Raftery (Jared), Nicole Regan (Matt), Eryn Lenke, Caitlin Gleason (Dave Bonini), Dustin Hermes (Jenny) and Colin Hermes; and her sisters, Marilyn McKinny, Sharon Neumann and Linda Van Den Bussche.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (1025 W 55th St, Countryside, IL 60525). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
