He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John F. Jackson and Anna T. Jackson; his wife Carol K. Jackson; his children, Linda Wheaton (John), Kevin (Leona), Timothy (Jill), Amy Kintner (Bob), Michael (Julie) and Thomas (Carrie); and his brother J. Daniel of Cheyenne Wy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (1025 W 55th St, Countryside, IL 60525). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
