He was predeceased by: his son Matt Connelly (Katya Shapoval); his parents, John and Loretta; and his brothers, William (late Kay), Terrence and George Connelly.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Connelly; his children, Rita Connelly, Tim Connelly (Amy) and Jenny Connelly (Ryan Asmussen); and his grandchildren, Nick, Emma, Declan and Sasha.
