With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Jessica Antusis (Countryside, Illinois), born in Topeka, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her husband Alex Antusis; her son Greg Carranza; and her siblings, Eulogia Velasquez, Brigido Hidalgo (Beatrice), Roman Hidalgo (Constance), Louise DeSoto (Angelo), Jennie Guillen (Joe), Ylde Delgado (Salvador) and Arnie Hidalgo (Toni).
She is survived by: her daughter Caryn Carranza (Christopher Hepplewhite); and her grandchildren, Kevin, Lauren (Collin Smothers) and Megan Roberts.
