She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver William and Loretta Evelyn Gordon (Iverson); her sister Janice E. Sample; and her granddaughter Jessica S. Black. She is survived by: her husband David Frederick Appelquist; her daughters, Patricia Ann Pearson (James) of Milan, IL, Elizabeth Ann Hall (Bob Johnson) of Silvis, IL, Deborah Ann Black of East Moline, IL and Julene Ann Waterman (Eric Prince) of Rochester, MN; her grandchildren, Matthew Hall, Timothy Hall (Ali), William Appelquist (Carrie), Frederick Waterman, Christopher Black and Christina Black; and her great grandchildren, Brookelyn Appelquist, Elizabeth, Bryan and Liberty McKee.
