He is survived by: his wife Rita Markland; his children, Courtney Kellam (Jake), Brian Markland and Matthew Markland (Michelle); his father Franklin Markland (Carol); his brother Frank Markland Jr.; his grandchildren, Connor, Aurora, Evan, Nolan, Abigail, Eleanor and Dominic; his mother-in-law Maureen Basile (late Frank); and his siblings-in-law, Edward Basile (Denise), Christine Smit (Glenn), Angela Schillerstrom (Curt), Jane Reich and Brenda Rogers (Matthew). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
