He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Newland and Robert Newland; and his wife Mae Scott. He is survived by: his sons, Richard (Belinda) and Robert Newland; his grandsons, Cody and Shane; and his sisters, Roberta Warnken, Irene Rislov and Mary Newland.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Hope Lutheran Church (305 W Black Rd, Shorewood, IL 60404).
