He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Lemm; and his sister Carol Keefer (late Guy). He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie Cesario, Deborah Wesolowski (late Andrew) and Karen Kennard (Robert); his grandchildren, Shaun Freeman, Kevin Freeman, Kristen Kennard, Breanne Sharos, William Kennard and Brendan Petersen; his great grandchildren, Liam, Lydia, Aria and Lyle; his nieces, Kathy and Teresa; and his nephew Guy Keefer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (1705 Burry Cir Dr, Crest Hill, IL 60403). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
