He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest J. Schalansky, Sr. and Julia; his brother Ernest J. Schalansky, Jr. (Wendy Lachtara); his nephew Ernest J. Schalansky III (Vera); and his nieces, Julianne Costello (Robert) and Carolyn Lagattuta (John).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Richard-Midway Funeral Home (5749 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 S Archer Ave, Bedford Park, IL 60501).
