It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas H. Crubaugh of Crestwood, Illinois, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Douglas' memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Douglas' journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his father William Ernest Sr.; and his brothers, William Ernest Jr. and Joseph Crubaugh. He is survived by: his sons, Adam and Jack Crubaugh; his mother Barb Crubaugh (Nee Tacker); and his brother Dave Crubaugh (Mona). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help his boys and family with funeral expenses would be appreciated.
