He is survived by: his children, Shelley McDaniels (George), Tammi Adkins (Ralph) and Michael Hardwick (Laurie); his grandchildren, Katie, Scott, Colin, Steven, Nicole, Stefani and Adam; his great grandchildren, Jace, Liam, Nolan, Taylor, Evelyn, Bennett and Silas (Mary Nowak); his sister-in-law Andrea; and his close friend Luca.
