With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. LaMantia (Crestwood, Illinois), who passed away on May 8, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine LaMantia; his parents, James LaMantia and Carmella; his sister Rose Garcia; and his brother-in-law Al Garcia.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Martha) and Laddie; his grandchildren, Tyler and Snickers; his nephew Robert Garcia (Raymond Garcia); and his niece Marlene.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home & Cremation (5539 W 127th St, Crestwood, IL 60418). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Incarnation Catholic Church (5757 W 127th St, Crestwood, IL 60418).
