He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Lee Alvers Jr. (late Joan); his parents, Martha Fond and Robert Lee Alvers Sr. Fond; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Marchi, Karen Costa, Philip, Kim Bean and Larry Bean.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Alvers; his son Kenneth R. "Kenny" Alvers (Kelly); his grandchildren, Carly and Colin Alvers; his sisters, Lynne Alvers Patterson (late Lee) of New Lenox and Melanie Alvers Knaack (John) of Kankakee; and his siblings-in-law, Sam, Patricia Petty, Mark, Marilyn Tolene and Barbara.
