She was predeceased by: her parents, John Reik Sr. and Edna Reik (Zander); her husband Delmer Powell Sr.; her son Delmer "Dusty" Powell Jr. Margaret; and her siblings, Louis, Alice, Ernest, Evelyn and John Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Lewis (Marvin Mathius); her grandchildren, Meghan Filler (Kyle), Jonathan Powell, Nicole Temple (Greg), Katelyn Gore (Sean) and Samantha Lewis (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Emma, Ella, Brianna, Abby and Thomas. She is also survived by Aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center (414 S State St, Westville, IL 61883). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center's Urbas Chapel (414 S State St, Westville, IL 61883). A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Park (3901 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834).
