He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Phyllis; his children, Bill Altier III (Keri), Char Schaade (Steve), Chrissy Kapustianyk (Mike), Pa-Grandpa of Stevie, Jordan (Jenna), Shelby (Beau), Faith, Billy IV, Magi, Alex, Michael, Ethan and Jim; his great grandchild Beckett; and his siblings, Donna Storck (Bill) and Dan Altier. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
