He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Hunley (Danny), Carrie Carcelli, Kelly Yoder, Joseph Yoder and Jennifer Becvar (Frank); his grandchildren, Holly Hunley (Bill Mueller), Jason Hunley (Jackie), Catherine Pietrzak (Shemek), Michael DeFrancesco (Megan), Matthew DeFrancesco and Henry Becvar; and his great grandchildren, Brett Michael Pietrzak, Gracie Mae, Scarlett Rae DeFrancesco, Maggie, Charlotte, Carter and Jack.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery South Dixie.
