He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Muehring and Ethel Mae Muehring (Luecke); his sister Judith Paul (late Bill); his niece Carolyn Miller; and his nephew Gregory Paul.

He is survived by: his wife Pam Muehring (Anderson); his children, Meagan Jarmuz (Nick) and Michael Muehring; his grandsons, Andrew Jarmuz and Alexander Jarmuz; and his niece Cathy Myhre (Brian). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
